My own journey began the day I was born but the journey towards that day began a long, long time ago.
I have been researching my family history for many years and I am sure it will be a never ending quest to achieve completion but for now I shall continue with the same enthusiasm that I started with. Initially it involved many visits to records offices but so much is online nowadays that it is definitely easier. However, there are still places to visit for the more elusive records and to see where my ancestors lived and worked. Not to mention graveyards!
